PRB: Document does not appear in the Zetadocs client after printing using Terminal Services Print ZTN3586 ID: ZTN3586 This Zetafax technical note applies to: Zetadocs Client v6 and later Symptom After a printing a document while in a Terminal Services session, the Zetadocs client does not open automatically as it should. After manually opening the client, the document does not appear to have been printed. Cause Zetadocs spools print jobs to the user’s temporary folder. The folder can change after the user logs out and in again. The Zetadocs Printer is not aware of the new folder location. Resolution The Zetadocs Printer must be initialized with the correct temporary folder settings when the user logs in. Download the fix from the link below: ZTN3586.zip Extract both files into a folder which is accessible by all users on the Terminal Server. Add a shortcut to ‘PrintSettingsStartupApp.exe’ in Start | Programs | Startup folder for all users. Note: The Zetadocs users must have ‘Manage Printer’ permissions for the Zetadocs Printer in order to run this fix. Status This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above. Last updated: 10 February 2010 (JW/MW)
