More information
NOTE: If you have an existing/previous Zetafax Connector installed on Exchange 2000/2003, please follow this technical note in conjunction with this one ZTN1578
The Zetafax Connector for Exchange is a required component when using the Zetafax Server email gateway to send and receive faxes within Microsoft Outlook via Microsoft Exchange Server. Zetafax version 2007 SP1 was released with support for automated install of the connector components onto the Exchange 2007 Hub Transport Server. This was not present in Zetafax version 2007. Only a manual install was possible.
If you have previously performed a manual install of the connector, please roll back your steps before running the automated installer, by following the technote, ZTN1616-HOWTO Manually uninstalling the Zetafax connector for Exchange Server 2007.
The Zetafax Connector for Exchange 2007 is only compatible with 64 bit versions of Windows Server that have an Exchange 2007 Hub Transport server installed and configured.
The manual install steps for the Zetafax Exchange 2007 Connector are still valid.
