FIX: Brooktrout SR140 using alternative routing (ROUTEON switch) is ignored

This Zetafax technical note applies to:
Symptom
The ROUTEON command, specified in the Setup.ini file, to determine how faxes should be routed to recipients is ignored. This prevents any alternative numbers such as the redirect, called party, calling party numbers that can be output by a PBX to be unavailable for routing using the Brooktrout SR140 device controller.
Cause
This problem was caused by in issue in the Brooktrout device controller.
Resolution
A patch is available at the following location: ZTN1820.zip
NOTE - This update is available to customers with a current Software Assurance contract, and requires a current username and password to be entered before download. Software Assurance customers without these details should contact their local distributor or Equisys at support@equisys.com with their entitlement details to obtain their password.
This issue can also be resolved by upgrading to a more recent version.
Status
This issue was corrected in Zetafax 2011.
