FIX: Zetafax SMTP Server does not work with certain SMTP email servers Print ZTN1831 ID: ZTN1831 This Zetafax technical note applies to: Zetafax 2010 Symptom A ‘554 - synchronisation error’ response is given by the SMTP server when attempting an outbound connection from the Zetafax SMTP server. This has been observed as an issue on the Exim email server. Cause An SMTP connect acknowledgement was not properly checked during message setup. Resolution A update is available for this issue.
