FIX: PDF files sent by fax may include extra pages when printed by recipient Print ZTN1902 ID: ZTN1902 This Zetafax technical note applies to: Zetafax 2012 Symptom When a PDF file is sent as a fax via the Email Gateway or Zetafax Automation Toolkit, the rendered fax image is slightly longer than the original document. This may cause some recipient fax machines to print the fax with additional blank or mainly blank pages. The issue is corrected with this update. Cause This was caused by an error in calculating the size of the rendered document inside the EPSTIFF rendering module. Resolution This issue has been resolved in the Zetafax 2012 Platform Feature Pack, available for download here. This update is available free of charge to existing Software Assuancre customers and can be accessed using the password provided in your Software Assurance newsletter.
