FIX: Fax image is scrambled when printing landscape documents to the Zetafax printer on Windows 8 Print ZTN1953 ID: ZTN1953 This Zetafax technical note applies to: Zetafax 2012 Platform Feature Pack Symptom After printing a landscape document to the Zetafax printer, the Zetafax Client starts but the document cannot be viewed in the Zetafax Viewer and is sent as a scrambled image. When printing a portrait document this issue does not occur. Cause This issue is caused by a problem with the Zetafax printer driver for Windows 8 where landscape documents do not get rotated to fit the standard fax size. Resolution This issue has been resolved in the Windows Client Update for Zetafax 2012 available here. This is free of charge to customers with a Software Assurance contract which is current at the time of release. Please note: To install the update you must have first installed the Zetafax 2012 Platform Feature Pack. Status This behaviour was corrected in the above mentioned update.
