This update includes new versions of the Zetafax Client Applications Setup Program and other client components to enable use with Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2. It is designed for use with the Zetafax 2012 Platform Feature Pack release. The update includes the following major enhancements to the Zetafax 2012 Platform Feature Pack release: Zetafax client now supports Windows 8.1 (32-bit and 64-bit) and Windows Server 2012 R2 (64‑ bit) The update includes the following additional quality improvements and enhancements: ZTN1924-FIX Cannot view address book entries in the Zetafax Client ZTN1947-FIX Exporting fax to PDF from the Zetafax Viewer results in a low quality PDF ZTN1940-FIX Outlook locks messages when opening more than once ZTN1953-FIX Fax image is scrambled when printing landscape documents to the Zetafax printer on Windows 8 This update also includes following update which was released previously: ZTN1925-INFO What's new in the Zetafax 2012 Outlook Feature Pack Status This update, available here, is free of charge to customers with a Software Assurance contract which is current at the time of release. This is a critical update, and is recommended for all systems running the Zetafax 2012 Platform Feature Pack. Where possible, all Windows 8 client computers which have the Zetafax Client installed should by updated with this release before upgrading to Windows 8.1, in order to avoid quality issues when sending faxes using the Zetafax Printer which may not be immediately apparent to the user.
