FIX: Uninstalling Zetafax Client does not remove Zetafax Outlook Addin from all users Print ZTN2067 ID: ZTN2067 This Zetafax technical note applies to: Zetafax 2014 Symptom On some multi-user systems (typically Windows Server 2003 Terminal Services machines), when uninstalling the Zetafax Client Applications that have had the Zetafax Outlook Addin enabled, the Outlook Addin is not removed for all users of the system. An error may appear when starting Outlook relating to installation of an Office customization: Cause The Zetafax Client installer has an issue with certain older OS configurations that prevents it from removing registry keys associated with the Zetafax Outlook Addin for users, particularly in a Terminal Services system. Resolution This fault was corrected in a hotfix, which is available by contacting Equisys Technical Support and quoting the technote number ZTN2067. This hotfix requires the addition of a Group Policy script to the affected machine. Status This behaviour was corrected in the hotfix detailed above.
