FIX: CAPI devices report UNABLE TO CONNECT OR NO ANSWER error when terminating a successful send

Symptom
On a Zetafax Server with CAPI devices, in some circumstances, the sending server reports an error “Error UNABLE TO CONNECT OR NO ANSWER while sending message to remote” when terminating a fax transmission, resulting in the fax being retried. The recipient receives 2 faxes as a result.
Cause
This was due to an incompatibility with certain fax machines that disconnect immediately after the last page of a fax rather than waiting for a termination signal from the Zetafax Server.
Resolution
This issue has been resolved in the Zetafax 2012 Platform Feature Pack, available for download here. This update is available free of charge to existing Software Assuancre customers and can be accessed using the password provided in your Software Assurance newsletter.
