FIX: Incorrect addressing details applied to batch document
ZTN4284
ID: ZTN4284
This Zetadocs technical note applies to:
- Version 5.5 of Zetadocs for Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- Version 9.0.282 and below of the Zetadocs Client
Symptom
Documents printed from NAV intermittently appear in the Zetadocs Client with incorrect addressing details applied.
The following conditions need to apply for this issue to occur:
- Documents loaded into the Zetadocs Client have the same name - The standard sales and purchase reports printed from NAV will always have unique names because the filename is modified to include the document number. For non-standard reports (i.e. not sales or purchase) the output filename will always be the name of the report unless custom code has been added to the Zetadocs-Send Integration codeunit.
- Documents are being previewed in the Zetadocs Client.
When this issue occurs, the addressing details that are applied belong to the previous printed record.
Cause
This issue can occur because of a problem in the Zetadocs Client where the addressing details for a document are retained in memory when a document is deleted. If another document is loaded in with the same name, it is possible for these addressing details to be written into the new file and so the new addressing details are lost.
Resolution
Please contact Equisys Technical Support to request a hotfix for this issue.
Status
An update is available which resolves this issue.
