FIX: Zetadocs PDF fails to start with Outlook 2013

This Zetadocs technical note applies to:
- Zetadocs PDF Client versions 8 to 9.3.399
Symptom
Zetadocs PDF client throws an error similar to the following: “Exception of type ‘Zetadocs.Exceptions.ExceptionTypes.UndeterminableOutlookVersionBitnessExceptioin’ was thrown.
Cause
The logic previously used to check the installed version of Outlook could not find the appropriate registry key.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in a hotfix. The hotfix correctly resolves the version of Outlook.
Alternatively a workaround is available. The workaround is to add the following registry keys:
1. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook
- String value called (Default) with the value Outlook.Application.15
2. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook
- String value called Bitness with the value x64.
