FIX: Zetadocs tab does not appear in SharePoint Search Center

This Zetadocs technical note applies to:

  • Zetadocs SharePoint Extensions for MOSS 2007

Symptom

Occasionally after installing the Zetadocs SharePoint extensions onto a MOSS system the Zetadocs Advanced Search tab does not appear in the search center.

Resolution

Please follow the steps below to add the Zetadocs Advanced Search tab manually:

  • Go to the search page
  • Select Site Actions --> Edit Page

  • Click Add New Tab
  • Enter the values shown in the screenshot below and press OK:

  • Click on the Publish button to commit your changes.
  • Now you will be able to click on the Zetadocs tab to see the Zetadocs Advanced Search page.

Status

This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
