FIX: Zetafax Outlook forms do not display the fax image on Outlook XP (2002) installed on Citrix XP.

This Zetafax technical note applies to:

• Zetafax Outlook extensions  version 7.5.0.65 or later
• Outlook XP (2002) installed on a Citrix XP terminal server.

Symptom

When users in a Citrix XP session view a fax using the Zetafax forms within outlook, a blank grey window is displayed (as below).

Cause

The Zetafax form uses the outlvbs.dll file to display the fax image. The outlvbs.dll file is missing from the Microsoft Office installation on the Citrix terminal server system.

Resolution

This file has to be located in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office10 directory (NOTE: The path may differ on you system!) for Zetafax to view the fax image correctly.

Copy the file from another system with office XP installed into the \Program Files\Microsoft Office \Office 10 directory on the Citrix XP machine. Then restart Outlook XP.

Status

This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above
