FIX: Zetafax SMTP Server does not work with certain SMTP email servers

Symptom
A ‘554 - synchronisation error’ response is given by the SMTP server when attempting an outbound connection from the Zetafax SMTP server. This has been observed as an issue on the Exim email server.
Cause
An SMTP connect acknowledgement was not properly checked during message setup.
Resolution
A update is available for this issue. Please contact Equisys technical support for further details.
Status
This issue was corrected in Zetafax 2011 and via a Zetafax 2010 update
