FIX: Zetafax mail gateway returns failed notifications for faxes that are sent correctly on the next attempt

This Zetafax technical note applies to:
- Zetafax 7.00.0.26 to 7.1.
Symptom
Faxes submitted from Microsoft Outlook that fail on the first attempt (e.g. Call not answered) but are sent subsequently, return a failed notification instead of sent OK.
Cause
The Zetafax Queue Manager module (QM.EXE) passed the first failure to the mail gateway, instead of the final status of the submitted fax.
Resolution
This issue is resolved by applying an updated Queue Manager module included in the Zetafax update. This is available on the Equisys web site www.equisys.com/updates as a separate download for Zetafax 7 users.
Status
Zetafax version 7 is no longer supported by Equisys. This issue is resolved with the latest version of Zetafax. If you wish to upgrade to the latest version of Zetafax please contact the Zetafax distributor for your country for more information or:
