Summary

Note: This technical note assumes that you have the email gateway setup and functional, and that the Outlook user has a Zetafax username that is enabled for sending from the email gateway.

The Outlook extensions for Zetafax are installed as part of the Zetafax Client application.  This technical note shows you how to address a fax without the Zetafax Client and Outlook extensions.

More information

  1. In Outlook, open a new email message.
  2. In the “To:” field you may use one of the two following formats to send a fax message
    • [Fax: Name@organization@faxnumber]
    • [Fax:@faxnumber]
  3. Fill out the subject and text body for the coversheet if desired, add any attachments and “Send”.
