Summary
This technote covers possible solutions to authentication failure issues when logging into the SharePoint Online archive through Zetadocs. If none of these solutions resolve your issue, please contact Equisys Technical Support.
More information
- Username or password may be incorrect. Please ensure your credentials are correct.
- Password may have expired. Navigate to your SharePoint Online site through a web browser and login. If prompted to change your password, please do so. You will now be able to login through Zetadocs.
- The password or username may have been entered incorrectly too many times. Navigate to your SharePoint Online site through a web browser and login. Follow the instructions to verify your identity. You will now be able to login through Zetadocs.
- You may not have permission to access/write to the specified site using the login credentials entered. Try logging into the site using a web browser and uploading a test file to the Zetadocs archive.
- The local time on your machine may be out of sync. Security mechanisms between SharePoint Online and Zetadocs require the local machine time to differ by not more than 5 minutes to the actual time. Please check that your time is in sync and that your time zone is set correctly.
