ID: ZTN4452

This Zetadocs technical note applies to:

  • Zetadocs for NAV version 8
  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 and later

Summary

This technote provides key considerations and offers advice for optimal hardware selection, sizing and performance for Zetadocs NAV Server Delivery.

More information

Zetadocs NAV Server Delivery execution is split in two steps:

  1. Queueing a batch job: typically launched by a user when clicking the Send button on the list page.
  2. Processing the batch job: run in the background by the Zetadocs Job Queue that is responsible to generate the PDF, then deliver and archive each record in the batch.

Zetadocs NAV Server Delivery processing time is dependent on the Dynamics NAV Server specifications. The table below details two different NAV server environments and their respective execution times.
