To check for updates:

Start the Zetafax Server, then click "Check for Updates." in the Help menu

Or

From the "Start" menu click START\ALL PROGRAMS\ZETAFAX\Check for Updates

Having downloaded the update, the patch needs to be distributed to all machines that have the Zetafax Client currently installed.  This can be done by installing the patch on each machine or alternatively, by following the instructions below, this can be done centrally using Group Policy:

  1. Start up "Active Directory Users and Computers" on a system within your network (this is normally found on a Domain controller system and you need to login with Domain administrator privileges).
  2. Right click domain, and select properties then click on the Group Policy tab.
  3. Select "default domain policy" and click "edit".
  4. Browse to Computer configuration/Software Settings/Software installations.
  5. Right Click the Zetafax Client package, select All Tasks, then Redeploy application.
  6. Confirm that you wish to redeploy the application everywhere it is installed by clicking the Yes button.
  7. The Zetafax client will now be installed when the client system has been rebooted.

ZTN1450 FIX: Print to fax addressing dialog is not presented in a terminal session running Zetafax 9.1.

ZTN1445 FIX: Printing to the Zetafax printer invokes the message "You must run the Zetafax client program (ZETAFAX.EXE) to address the fax"
