PRB: 'Operation failed' message when adding a new recipient to a fax in Outlook 2003

This Zetafax technical note applies to:

• Zetafax 2011 and below with Outlook 2003

Symptom

If a user tries to send a fax via the Outlook 2003 forms and a coversheet is selected before a contact is added, an Operation Failed message is shown when the user tries to add the contact by clicking the ‘Add’ button.

Cause

When the contact is manually inserted in the Compose Zetafax form and the user clicks the ‘Add’ button an unnecessary draft message was created.

Resolution

A hotfix is available to address this error.
