PRB: Cannot delete faxes in Zetafax Web Client

This Zetafax technical note applies to:

• Zetafax Web client on some machines running .NET 2 and later

Symptom

You cannot delete faxes or perform some other actions in the Zetafax Web Client; the delete button does not appear to do anything.

Cause

The web client was built against .NET 1.1 and if using a later version of .NET some functionality is lost.

Resolution

Microsoft has provided a workaround. Delete (and other actions) can be fixed by modifying the web.config file on the machine where the Zetafax Web client is installed.  You simply need to insert this line in the system.web section followed by restarting the Web services or running IISRESET:
