PRB: "Documents: startIndex cannot be larger than the length of string. Parameter name: startIndex" error shown after uploading a file to the factbox

This Zetadocs technical note applies to:

• Zetadocs Delivery and Capture Extension for Business Central versions 2.0.21306 to 2.0.22027
• Business Central version 14 and later

Symptom

When uploading a file or refreshing the factbox the error message "Documents: startIndex cannot be larger than the length of string. Parameter name: startIndex" is shown and the factbox will be stuck on refreshing. 

Cause

This is caused by a bug in the software when reading the Zetadocs metadata from SharePoint Online.

Resolution

Install the latest version of the Zetadocs Delivery and Capture Extension for Business Central, version 2.0.22043 and later.

Status

Equisys is aware of this issue and a fix has been released.
