PRB: HPSCAN processing messages causes Zetafax server to shut down

This Zetafax technical note applies to:

• Zetafax server 2007 SP1

Symptom

When the Zetafax server processes certain HPF files from an HP Scanner or MFP, the Zetafax server shuts down.

Cause

The when passed certain HPF files the HPScan module would error and cause the Zetafax server to shut down.

Resolution

There is a fix available on request. Please contact Equisys Technical Support for details

Status

This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
