This Zetafax technical note applies to:

Symptom

When using the Zetafax API, accessing the text in the coversheet of a sent fax by using MessageInfo.Covertext only works if the text has one line.

If the covertext has two lines or more the API hangs and thus the application.

Resolution

Ensure that you only use single line text in the Coversheet, or only run the application with files which only have a single line in the Covertext field.

Status

This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
