PRB: Output Files Not Generated When Printing In Terminal Services

This Zetadocs technical note applies to:
- All Zetadocs software versions.
Symptom
A user may be able to print correctly to the Zetadocs printer in one session, but after they have logged off and back on again it will stop working. Printing will take place, but the files will not appear in Zetadocs.
Opening the printer preferences for the Zetadocs PDF printer and pressing Ok will correct the problem.
This issue has only been found in a terminal services environment using roaming profiles and running Citrix.
Cause
The printer driver output directory does not refresh when a user logs off and logs back onto a different session. This means that the output directory being used by the printer drivers is not correct and the output files will be generated in “C:\Windows\Temp\” rather than the user’s TEMP folder.
Resolution
Please contact Equisys technical support for a resolution to this problem.
Status
This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
