PRB: Sending a fax over an SMTP gateway renders HTML in code on the fax's coversheet

Symptom

When sending a fax using the SMTP gateway, the email message is rendered into HTML code onto the coversheet of the fax.

Cause

This occurs because different email clients encode their HTML messages differently.  This was affecting HTML detection, which is necessary for extracting text from an HTML email message for display on the coversheet.

Resolution

A hotfix is available from Equisys Technical Support which will resolve the issue.

Status

This fault was corrected in a hotfix available from Equisys Technical Support.
