PRB: Server Busy dialog blocks Zetafax client when forwarding fax via email

This Zetafax technical note applies to:
- All Zetafax Client versions on systems with Outlook installed
Symptom
When forwarding a fax via email the ‘Server Busy’ dialog, pictured below, appears on top of the Zetafax Client and does not allow for the client to be interacted with. It will appear more frequently on systems with high resource usage or low resources.
Cause
The intended use of forwarding fax via email is that the email should be completed before the Zetafax Client is available for further use. The interaction mechanism between Zetafax Client and Outlook causes the ‘Server Busy’ dialog to be displayed.
Resolution
The user should complete the forwarding of fax via email. An Outlook email dialog will have appeared with the fax as an attachment. Complete the forwarding of the fax via email by pressing send in the Outlook dialog. Once Outlook has finished sending the mail select ‘Retry’ from the ‘Server Busy’ dialog. The Zetafax Client is now available to be interacted with.
Status
The behaviour of the software versions given above is as designed.
