PRB: Zetadocs.Api returns Error in the application with Zetadocs for NAV

This Zetafax technical note applies to:

Symptom

When you try and use Zetadocs for NAV you get the following error:

Cause

Zetadocs for NAV client is not correctly licensed or has not yet been run for the first time after Zetadocs has been registered.

Resolution

If you have just registered Zetadocs then open the Zetadocs Client on the NAV workstation to cache the settings to resolve the error.

If you are still getting this error use the Zetadocs PDF Configuration program to add your Zetadocs Automation licence (typically these start with 555…) If you do not have an Automation licence you will need to obtain one to use Zetadocs for NAV. If you are using a Network folder to store the Zetadocs configuration, be sure to point the Zetadocs Client to that location using Tools> Licensing.

Status

This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
