PRB: Zetafax 2008 installation hangs when upgrading from Zetafax 2006

Symptom
The Zetafax 2008 Server Installation does not complete during an upgrade from Zetafax 2006. The Zetafax Server – Installation Wizard screen remains as follows:
Cause
On some systems the _zfrun.exe process is not closed correctly by the installer program even though the upgrade has completed successfully.
Resolution
Use task manager to end the process manually.
- Launch Task Manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) and go the Processes tab.
- Click End Process on each of the msiexec.exe processes running under the logged in user (Tomas in this case). That will end _zfrun.exe and close the Zetafax Server – Installation Wizard.
- Run up the Zetafax Configuration and continue to add your upgrade license and go through online registration. Add the received registration code and then start the Zetafax Server.
- The Zetafax Server will now be running version 2008 and can send and receive faxes successfully.
- Continue to upgrade the Zetafax Clients following the advice below:

This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
