PRB: Zetafax reports not a valid tiff fax file when viewing SMS text message

This Zetafax technical note applies to:
- Zetafax 2009 (v12)
Symptom
When you attempt to view a text message in the Zetafax Client, you receive a warning similar to the message below:
\\fax-server\zfax\users\username\z-in\~recd972.tmp is not a valid tiff fax file
Cause
The Zetafax Client version listed above treats all messages as fax (tiff) messages.
Resolution
- Go to C:\Documents and Settings\< user> \Application Data\Equisys\Zetafax Client and open ZFCLIENT.INI in notepad.
- Paste this command in a new line at the bottom:
- Save the file and the restart Zetafax Client.
- Now select an SMS in the inbox, go to Tools and select Notepad to view the message.

This has been identified by Equisys as a problem with the software versions given above.
