This article describes the new features and other improvements in the December 2024 update of the Zetadocs Delivery and Zetadocs Capture Extension for Business Central.

Feature enhancements

The following new feature enhancements are included in this release:

Drag and drop multiple files into Zetadocs Documents Factbox

Zetadocs Capture now supports drag and drop of multiple  files into the Zetadocs Documents Factbox, to avoid having to capture files one at a time.

Simplified steps to enable email preview when using Zetadocs Delivery with RDLC reports

A preview of the E-Mail body for the Zetadocs Template is now available inside Business Central, which simplifies the steps detailed on technotes ZTN4612 and ZTN4614.  

Zetadocs AP Automation improvements

• Added a restriction to Zetadocs AP Automation to ensure that any invoice lines with unpopulated quantity or unit cost values cannot be matched until the fields have been populated with values.
• Improved processing of the 'Due Date' field on Purchase Invoices, either allowing to fetch from the invoice document, and if not existing in the document, fetches from the default Business Central logic.
• Zetadocs AP Automation now supports matching multiple lines on an invoice to a single purchase order line.This will be useful in some scenarios, for example where a computer purchase and the associated warranty are shown as separate lines on the invoice that need matching to a single purchase order line.
• Zetadocs AP Automation now allows multiple invoice lines to be combined into one single line, so that the combined invoice line can be matched to a single purchase order line.

Combine attachments using the Zetadocs SDK

The Zetadocs SDK now allows the automatic combining of attachments into a single PDF file

Quality and performance improvements 

This update includes a number of quality and performance improvements, including the following:

Responsiveness and performance improvements

The Zetadocs cloud service has been improved to be more responsive and  perform better  in high demand scenarios.

Improvements to Activity Log

The Zetadocs Activity Log has been improved to display the number of records consolidated in a Zetadocs Send, allowing for a clearer view of  sent records.

Unable to process partially secured PDF files

Resolved an issue whereby some PDF files which are protected (from copying of text or editing) were not able to be processed in the Zetadocs Document Queues.

Document queue refresh does not update the list with new/removed documents

Fixed an intermittent issue whereby refreshing the Zetadocs Document Queue does not update the list of documents.

Equisys website links from the Zetadocs Documents FactBox point to an invalid page

Fixed an issue with some links within the Zetadocs Documents FactBox pointing to an invalid URL.

Zetadocs configuration file import fails

Resolved a rare issue whereby some duplicate data on the Business Central database may block the Zetadocs configuration import.

Known issues with released features 

Combining or matching all invoice lines using the 'Select All' button when matching lines does not work.

Business Central has a 'Select All' button on most list pages, The Zetadocs AP Automation order matching page does not currently support use of this button, users should either multi-select or individually select relevant items instead.
