What’s new in Zetadocs Delivery and Zetadocs Capture January 2025 update

User experience and quality enhancements

This article describes the new features and other improvements in the January 2025 update of the Zetadocs Delivery and Zetadocs Capture Extension for Business Central.

Release date, version and availability 

January 16, 2025 (version 3.0.25008) available for download for on-premises Business Central systems and on Microsoft AppSource for Business Central Online systems from the release date.

Changes in this update 

Feature enhancements

The following new feature enhancements are included in this release:

Zetadocs AP Automation – duplication warning messages.

Zetadocs now displays a warning if the vendor invoice no. (as shown on the Zetadocs preview screen) has already been specified on an unposted or posted purchase invoice or credit memo. This helps to avoid the duplicate processing of documents. Previously, this warning was only shown if the vendor invoice no. was specified on a posted purchase invoice.

Zetadocs Delivery – multi-select from list pages in Business Central

Users are now able to select multiple records on a Business Central list page and send them as a batch using Zetadocs, without having to manually specify the record no. range (which has previously been required).

Quality and performance improvements 

This update includes a number of quality and performance improvements, including the following:

Uploading new attachments to a Zetadocs Template

Resolved an issue whereby updating a Zetadocs Template with new attachments was sometimes removing existing attachments from the list.

Translations on non-English systems

Updated some text strings which were not translated correctly.

Erroneous message shown on the Zetadocs Authorization Manager page

Fixed an issue whereby a ‘Signed-out successfully’ message is shown after a user selects “no” to signing out of SharePoint online.

Sign-in message is incorrectly displayed twice

Resolved an issue where a sign-in prompt was shown too many times when changing the archive URL on the Zetadocs General Settings page.

Unable to exit from the New Template page

Fixed an issue where in certain situations, users encountered an error 'You must specify a template name' continuously when trying to exit the Zetadocs Template page.

Error when cancelling a Zetadocs Send from an Issued Reminder

Fixed a rare issue where an error dialog is shown ('The record in table Zetadocs Send Settings already exists') when cancelling a Zetadocs send from an Issued Reminders report.

Known issues with released features 

Combining or matching all invoice lines using the 'Select All' button when matching lines does not work.

Business Central has a 'Select All' button on most list pages, The Zetadocs AP Automation order matching page does not currently support use of this button, users should either multi-select or individually select relevant items instead.

When attempting to match multiple invoice lines in Zetadocs AP Automation, not all lines are matched (Business Central Spring 2019 release (BC14) to Business Central 2020 Wave 1 (BC16)).

An incompatibility has been identified with older versions of Business Central and the functionality to match multiple invoice lines, where one of the selected lines is not matched.
