This article describes the new features and other improvements in the March 2025 update of the Zetadocs Delivery and Zetadocs Capture Extension for Business Central.

Feature enhancements

The following new feature enhancements are included in this release:

Rename documents from Zetadocs Documents FactBox

Added support for renaming of documents from the Zetadocs Documents FactBox, allowing users to change archived files to more meaningful names if required.

Improvements to upload from Zetadocs Documents FactBox

The Zetadocs Documents FactBox is now able to upload multiple files in the browse file dialog, in addition to the existing support for drag and drop of multiple files.

Support for embedding images into email body during Zetadocs Delivery process

It is now possible to embed an image to the email body in the Zetadocs Delivery dialog when sending an email.

Quality and performance improvements 

This update includes a number of quality and performance improvements, including the following:

Improved detection of invoice fields for Zetadocs AP Automation

Zetadocs AP Automation is now using an upgraded version of the Microsoft Document Intelligence AI, which includes improvements to detection of fields, increasing reliability and time savings for users. This includes improved detection of quantities, where sometimes these were being picked up as negative figures.

Faster upload of files larger than 1MB to SharePoint Online

A change has been made to the way that SharePoint is called by the Zetadocs Cloud Service, which improves performance for file uploads and improves general system responsiveness.

'Sorry, we just updated this page' error during delivery of emails

Resolved an issue where some email deliveries encountered this error. This was typically happening when a user's SharePoint credentials needed to be automatically refreshed.

Incorrect stationery used for email attachment

Fixed a bug where in some circumstances, when changing the stationery used by a Zetadocs Template, the old one may continue being used for delivery.

Zetadocs Documents FactBox does not display any related documents

Fixed an issue where some purchase records with a large number of linked receipts were not returning any documents when viewing the Documents FactBox.

Known issues with released features 

Combining or matching all invoice lines using the 'Select All' button when matching lines does not work.

Business Central has a 'Select All' button on most list pages, The Zetadocs AP Automation order matching page does not currently support use of this button, users should either multi-select or individually select relevant items instead. This is an active issue that Microsoft are investigating.

Multi-selecting invoice lines to match and then reverting to a single selection matches the original multi-selected lines instead

The multi-select for matching is generally functional, but there is a specific case whereby if a user has multi-selected some lines, and then reverts to selecting a single line within that original selection, then the matching will happen for all the original selected lines. There is a fault in the retaining of selection information and there is an active case that Microsoft are investigating.
