Changes in this update
Feature enhancements
Importing large payment card transaction files
We have improved the transaction import wizard in the client to make the import process work more reliably. This is designed to help companies with larger numbers of payment cards and transactions.
If the import file contains more than 1,000 transactions, the Zetadocs Expenses app will now allow the user to continue working while the server processes the request, rather than requiring the user to wait for the import process to complete.
We have also improved the behavior if the server takes longer than expected to process the request, or encounters an error. These changes reduce the risk of the user creating duplicate records by retrying the import, and improve usability for the finance processor.
Support delegate users with Microsoft sign in
Previously delegate users had to sign in using a Zetadocs account (username and password). We have now extended this to support Microsoft single sign-in, so that a delegate user can sign in with a Microsoft account or a Zetadocs account depending on their user account settings.
Quality and performance improvements
This update includes a number of quality and performance improvements, including the following:
Client home page totals are wrong for delegate user with role subset
A delegate user can be configured with a subset of the user roles – for example, if a finance processor has the Approver and Processor roles, you can configure a delegate user for the account without the Approver role.
The home page in the Zetadocs Expenses app shows a count of the outstanding approval tasks for the current user. This now displays the correct count values for delegate users with a subset of the user roles.
Error when uploading receipt for foreign currency expense
Previously receipt analysis did not work correctly when you added a receipt to a foreign currency expense, and in some circumstances the client could become unresponsive when you did this. This has now been corrected.
Client becomes unresponsive after removing roles
We have corrected an issue which could cause the Zetadocs Expenses client to become unresponsive after removing a role from the current user.
