How to configure email integration settings

Zetadocs can integrate with a variety of email solutions, these are:

•Send via Outlook 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2018

•Send via Outlook 2003

•Send via SMTP

•Send via Lotus Notes

 

Outlook Integration

Systems using Outlook to deliver their emails can simply select the relevant version of Outlook that they have installed from the list of options.

Please note: Users without up to date Anti-virus software may receive warnings on attempting to send using the Outlook option. In this scenario they can choose the Outlook 2003 option instead as this method is compatible, although it is slightly less efficient.

 

 

SMTP Mail Server Integration

 

SMTP setup requires you to specify mail server settings:

 

Step 1:  From the Tools menu select Options. The Options dialog box will be displayed and the General Tab will be selected.

 

Step 2:  Select Send via SMTP in the email integration field.

 

Step 3:  Click on the Server Settings button.  The following dialog is displayed.

 

 

Step 4:  Enter the configuration information for your SMTP server including user name and password and click OK.  

 

 

Lotus Notes Server Integration

 

Lotus Notes setup requires you to specify mail server settings:

 

Step 1:  From the Tools menu select Options. The Options dialog box will be displayed and the General Tab will be selected.

 

Step 2:  Select Send via Lotus Notes in the email integration field.

 

Step 3:  Click on the Server Settings button.  The following dialog is displayed.

 

 

Step 4:  Enter the configuration information for your Lotus Domino server including user name and password and click OK.
