Cover sheet background file

 

 

The background file contains the fixed part of the cover sheet, like the logo, address etc. of the sending company.

 

It is stored in TIFF FAX format, with a version for fine (with extension .G3F) mode faxing and optionally a version for normal (with extension .G3N) mode faxing. cover sheet files are stored in the C:\Program Files\Zetafax Server\SYSTEM\ZCOVER directory.

 

Use a word processor to prepare your cover sheet background. Then set up the Zetafax printer driver in High resolution mode, and print the background. On the addressing dialog click the Save as... button and save the .G3F file in the C:\Program Files\Zetafax Server\SYSTEM\ZCOVER directory.

 

Since only the first page of the cover sheet background file is used, if you require a cover sheet with your letterhead as the background, then you can use the same file for both (any continuation pages will be ignored). If you want the background of the cover sheet to be the same as your letterhead, then use the Windows File Manager program to copy the letterhead file from e.g. C:\Program Files\Zetafax Server\SYSTEM\ZLETTER\LETTHEAD.G3F to C:\Program Files\Zetafax Server\SYSTEM\ZCOVER\COVSHEET.G3F.
