Configuring a Lotus Notes Domino server
We assume that a Lotus Notes Domino server has been installed and is working on your network. You need to decide which Lotus Notes Domino server within your domain is to host the Email Gateway.
Preparation
Before you can use the Zetafax Email Gateway with Lotus Notes, you must set up facilities within Lotus Notes which allow messages to be routed between its own databases and the Zetafax Server. You will need to create the following:
•A Lotus Notes user who will act as a manager for the Zetafax gateway facilities in Lotus Notes.
•A foreign domain to serve as the gateway to the Zetafax Server.
In addition, the router mailbox database, MAIL.BOX, which is responsible for holding emails in transit to the Zetafax Server, needs to be configured with the correct permissions.
