Expert setup options

Zetafax has a large number of setup options designed for use by advanced users and experts.

 

The SETUP.INI file is used to configure the Zetafax system, and is stored in the C:\Program Files\Zetafax Server\SYSTEM\ZDB directory. The settings that it contains are read by the server on startup, and also by the Zetafax Client program when it is run. The Zetafax SETUP program alters settings in this file (as well as other files) and we advise the use of the SETUP program wherever possible.

 

Expert users can find documentation on SETUP.INI in the SETUP.WRI (Windows WRITE format) file in the C:\Program Files\Zetafax Server\SYSTEM\ZDB directory.

 

Ensure that you backup your Zetafax files before editing SETUP.INI by hand.
