Fax Relay Settings

To access the Fax Relay settings open the Zetafax Configuration program and select Server Settings and then Fax Relay, the configuration options window will appear.

 

 

 

 

This provides configuration options for the relaying of faxes using Zetafax.

 

Enabled or Disabled Fax Relay

These radio buttons allow fax relay to be enabled or disabled.  

Note: A Fax Relay add-on licence must be applied before Fax Relay can be enabled.

 

Allow anonymous sending

This option allows the submission of faxes from a local fax machine without specifying a user DID to use. This will result in the the default user account being used, the standard behaviour is for Zetafax to store all sent messages in the user's outbox until cleared.

 

Default user

This is the default Zetafax User that will be used when faxes are submitted anonymously from a local fax machine.

Note: To enable Fax Relay a default user must be selected.

 

Use default if specified user is invalid

Check this box to use the fax relay default user to send faxes that are submitted from a local fax machine with an unrecognised user DID specified in the dialled number.  

Note: If this box is not checked, faxes that are submitted with a DID that cannot be resolved to a valid Zetafax User will be rejected by the Zetafax Server. This will also happen if the DID entered is for a Zetafax Group instead of a Zetafax User.

 

Reset

Sets the fax relay options to their default values.

 

Note: The settings are not saved until either OK is clicked or another category is selected from the scrollable options on the left.
