Do not dial number restriction

The Do not dial number restriction option allows you to specify numbers that you do not wish to be dialed by members of your company.  You can specify:

 

•Individual numbers that should not be dialed.

•All International communications to be blocked.

•Local area codes that should be barred such as premium rate fax lines.

 

To set up your Zetafax Do not dial list, follow the instructions below:

 

1.Open the Zetafax Configuration program.

2.Select the Server settings option and select the Do not dial Category.  The control will be displayed:

 

 

 

Any numbers that have already been added will be displayed in this list, along with any descriptions you may have added.

 

To add a new restricted number

 

1.Click on the Add button, the Add restricted number dialog is displayed:

 

 

2.Type the number that you wish restrict in the Number box.

3.Add a description of that number if required in the Description box.

4.Select the Add Number button to save this number to your Do not dial list:

 

 

To modify an existing number

 

1.Highlight the number you wish to change by selecting it with your left mouse button.

2.Select the Modify button, the Modify restricted number dialog is displayed:

 

 

3.At this point you can make changes to either the Number or the Description.

4.When you have made your changes, select the Save option to save your modifications.

 

 

To remove a number

 

1.Highlight the number or numbers you wish to remove from the list by selecting them with your left mouse button.

2.Select the Remove button, the Delete Confirmation is displayed:

 

 

3.Select the Yes option to delete the numbers.
