Cover sheet foreground file

The foreground file contains the variable information. This is overlaid onto the background file at sending time. Items such as recipient, sender, date and page number are filled in automatically by Zetafax.

 

It is stored in a format with extension .EPN. cover sheet files are stored in the C:\Program Files\Zetafax Server\SYSTEM\ZCOVER directory.

 

The layout of the foreground information supplied with Zetafax is generally sufficient, but it may be changed if required.

 

To use the same foreground format as one of the example cover sheets, just copy the appropriate .EPN file to the name of your new cover sheet. Otherwise you can create a new foreground in any Word Processor, by using embedded command fields (which must be in one of the Zetafax fonts).

 

Then set up the Zetafax printer driver and print the foreground. In the addressing dialog, click the Save as... button and save the .EPN file in the C:\Program Files\Zetafax Server\SYSTEM\ZCOVER directory.

 

There are some example files (for use with the Windows WRITE program) in the C:\Program Files\Zetafax Server\SYSTEM\ZCOVER directory.

 

An example might be:
