Integration with Microsoft Office

 


 

Zetafax integrates closely with Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel.  

 

Using the addins, submitting a fax from a Microsoft Office application is a single-stage process.  There is no need to change printer driver to the Zetafax printer from your network printer, instead just click the Zetafax printer button or click on send to.. Zetafax printer from the file menu or Microsoft office button and Zetafax will prompt you for where you want to send the fax.  

 

Combine the embedded addressing functionality of the Zetafax API with the Mail Merge feature of Microsoft Word, and you can automate the whole sending process from start to finish.  Use Mail Merge to create multiple personalized documents containing the addressing information for the fax and click Zetafax printer button.  Your document will be printed automatically and Zetafax will use the addressing information embedded in the documents and address each of the faxes individually in the background.  When the faxes have been send, Zetafax will notify you whether each of them has been sent successfully or not.

 

Installing the Zetafax Office Addins

The easiest way to install the Office Addins for both Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel is by selecting the Express setup type when installing the Zetafax Client Applications.

 

If originally you chose not to have the Microsoft addins installed,  by choosing the Custom setup type, you may decide to install the addins at a later time.
