The Zetafax Server console, ZSERVER, is the program which runs SYSMAN, as described in Programs on the Zetafax Server, to start the fax server programs. It then displays the Zetafax Server window to show status and error messages from the fax server programs. To shut down the fax server, close the ZSERVER window. This notifies SYSMAN then exits, and SYSMAN in turn closes down the fax server programs.

 

 

If you are running the fax server as a service, running ZSERVER will allow you to monitor the activity of the service in the background and the title bar changes to Zetafax Server Monitor to indicate this. Under these circumstances, closing ZSERVER will only close the monitor program, and will not affect the fax server service.
