Dialing properties - Example: Atlanta, USA
•Select USA and Canada from the list of countries for Server location.
•Enter '770' for the Area code .
The following information should then be set up automatically:
•'1' for the National access code . '011' for the International access.
•Select the Numbers longer than... option for identifying local numbers, and set the number length to '7'.
•Check the Always dial Area code (10-digit dialing) option.
•Leave the Include the National access box unchecked.
Now use the test function to check that numbers are converted as expected.
For Atlanta, numbers with area code 404 are also treated as local. To configure this:
•Click the Area rules button to enter the Area rules dialog.
•In the Do not dial National access for numbers with these Area codes window, click the Add button to start the Add number dialog and type '404' in the number field.
•Click OK to add the new area code to the list.
•Click OK to close the Area rules dialog.
•When you are happy with all the settings, click OK to leave the Dialing properties dialog.
