Filing system and permissions
Both the Zetafax clients and the Zetafax Server need to be able to access the same file space. The file space is split into five areas, depending on the access permissions required.
•The Server Area, zfax \SERVER, is used only by the Zetafax Server programs, and is used for private databases which should not be accessible to the clients.
•The System Area, zfax \SYSTEM, should be accessible to clients for reading only.
•The All User Area, zfax \USERS, contains a subdirectory for each user. Each user should have Full Control access to their own subtree, and No Access to the directories for other users.
•All users require Full Control access to the Request Area zfax \REQUEST.
•Finally, if the Zetafax email gateway option is installed the zfax \MAIL area is used only by the Zetafax Server programs and should not be accessible to the clients.
•In each example above zfax is the root Zetafax Server installation folder, e.g. C:\Program Files\Zetafax Server.
