Lotus Notes Setup Service

This dialog allows you to configure the gateway for Lotus Notes.

Server Name:

Enter the full server name followed by the Notes domain name. For example, Notes Server/Equisys Limited.

Foreign Domain name:

In order to use Notes, you must use the Notes administrator to set up a foreign domain that will act as the connector to the gateway. Normally, the name of this domain will be FAX.

Name of the gateway mail file

When you use the Notes administrator to set up a foreign domain, you associate a file with this domain, and this name should be entered here. Normally, the name of this domain will be FAX.NSF.

Test connection

Choose this option to test the connection to Notes. The gateway will not be configured until this connection is made.

Cover page

When sending a fax message from an email client, the normal Zetafax cover sheets are available. These are attached to the message when it is passed to the Zetafax server. Choose the cover sheet you require from this list, or if you do not wish to send a cover sheet.

Cover page: always

Choose this option if you wish all users to use the cover sheet you have selected from the list.

Cover page: default

Choose this option if you wish each user to be able to use his own default cover sheet. A Zetafax user may select his default cover sheet by running the Zetafax workstation.

Omit cover page if no text

If this option is selected, attachment-only messages will not include a cover sheet, even though a cover sheet has been selected.

Return sent files after transmission

If this option is selected, when the gateway sends a response message to the email client that indicates the success or failure of the fax, all attachment files will be included in the response. If this option is not selected, the attachment files are only included if the message has been rejected by Zetafax.
