Email profile accounts

 


 

Email profile accounts allow a number of email users to share a Zetafax account for sending and receiving faxes through the email gateway. This section describes the process of creating an email user profile account and enabling email users using Zetafax Configuration.

 

Choose the Users and user groups option from the Zetafax Configuration main menu.

Choose Email user profiles options in the left pane.

Click Add (Action menu) to create a new email profile account.

In the Add new Zetafax email user profile dialog enter the name of the email user profile account you wish to add and click the OK button.

 

You will then be able to set the required permissions for this email user profile.

 

You can use email user profiles to group users into manageable units, with identical user defaults specified by the network administrator.

 

For example, you could create fax cover sheets and letterheads for use by a specific department, or restrict a group of users to sending faxes through the email gateway during off-peak hours only.

 

In addition, a email user profile account can be used by the network administrator to manage the queue of faxes for users of the profile; for example to abort incorrectly addressed faxes, or rush specific faxes to the front of the queue.
