Using Zetafax with Brooktrout fax devices

Zetafax can be used with Brooktrout intelligent fax devices under Windows Server 2012, 2008 or 2003 and Windows XP Professional. Used with Zetafax automatic inward routing, these support direct dial numbers using DID (Direct Inward Dialing lines) in North America, ISDN (in the rest of the world), or DTMF tones (from a Fax Router or PBX).

The Zetafax software includes all drivers and firmware required to use Brooktrout TruFax and TR1034 devices.

Overview

This section gives instructions for installation and configuration required for using a Brooktrout device with Zetafax.

The stages of installing a Zetafax Server using Brooktrout devices are as follows:

•Install the intelligent fax device in the fax server PC and the Brooktrout device drivers, specifying where applicable the hardware settings which have been used.

•Install the Zetafax Server software from the Zetafax product CD.

•Specify the correct country code, and DID parameters (if required).

•Add and configure the fax device for use with the Zetafax Server.
