Zetafax Server remote administration

Provides configuration options for the Zetafax Remote Administration program. More information Click here for more on configuring Remote Administration.

These settings control whether the Zetafax Server can be administered from a PC other than the one where the Zetafax Server is installed. There is a separate install package on the product CD that enables Remote Administration to be installed on another PC. The settings are described in detail below:

Zetafax Server computer name

The name of the computer on which the Zetafax Server is installed. This should not normally need changing.

Allow remote server monitoring

Check this option to enable the Zetafax Server monitor program to run on another PC.

Allow remote server restart

Check this option to enable the Zetafax Server to be restarted from another PC using remote administration.

Allow remote device control

Check this option to enable the devices to be brought on and offline from another PC using remote administration.

Allow remote link control

Check this option to enable the control of links from another PC using remote administration. This option is only available if LCR is enabled.

Queue status update frequency (seconds)

This setting controls the frequency with which the remote Zetafax Server monitor program is updated with information from the Zetafax Server.
