Installing HP Digital Sender Devices

Requirements

This setup requires a HP Digital Sender device and a Zetafax Server.

Installing the Digital Sender Service

When you install the Digital Sender Service, which is part of the install process for the HP JetAdmin utility program, the Setup program prompts you whether you wish to add fax service functionality.

•Click Yes and select the Zetafax check box.

•Set the work area path to the directory zfax \HPFSCAN where zfax is the Zetafax Server's base directory.

Note: You must specify a mapped drive such as F:\ZFAX as the Setup program will not recognize UNC pathnames.

This is the directory where submitted faxes will be placed for processing by the Zetafax Server. In the current release of the HP software this directory must be named HPFSCAN.
